Description
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 254 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Sampling Methods
For sampling simple corers of Ø2 cm and 20 cm deep made out of PVC tubes were used to take a total of 9 cores from the topsoil of approx. 50g, avoiding stones and organic materials when possible, and then collected into plastic Ziplock bags.
| Study Extent | Dunes, single event |
|---|
Method step description:
- Soil samples were set to air-dry by opening the bags for 24 hours. 1 gr of soil was prepared in serial dilutions with sterile water, and different dilutions were plated in different agar media. After incubation at room temperature pure cultures were transfer to new media. Cultures were preserved at -20 C and DNA was extracted for molecular identification
